UY STUDIO, REBRANDING

I worked together with branding strategist Matheus Dick Lee and the amazing design studio Sometimes Always to deliver a complete rebranding for UY STUDIO, a fashion studio from Berlin that designs garments and artistic experience with a strong body-based, performative essence. (2020-2021, Berlin)

The briefing was to create a new voice for UY, that could stand for the brand’s core identity and edge, but resonate with a wider, global and more mature audience. To do so, me and Matheus delivered:

1) BRAND PERCEPTION RESEARCH - qualitative research to understand how UY STUDIO was perceived at the time by key people inside the fashion industry and potential buyers

2) BRANDING WORKSHOP, together with UY's team, where we could apply the learnings from the research into co-creating the Purpose, Role, Core Values and Symbolic Universe of UY STUDIO

3) BRAND BOOK + DESIGN GUIDELINES for a new logo and visual identity, created by Sometimes Always, according to the Purpose, Core Values and Symbolic Universe defined by our workshop

4) CONTENT + PR STRATEGY, to guide UY into turning its new identity into different Tones of Voice for each specific media UY's in, and also coaching them with finding the right media outlets to be featured, plus events, content creators and platforms to collaborate with.
